HOURS

My capacity most weeks is around 25–30 hours.

My core working hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9am–3pm, but I can often fit in extra work in addition to this.

School holidays: 
I will have less time available during school holidays, maybe 16 hours a week. But if it’s at a real crunch time for your project, I can be flexible.

RATES

My standard rates (last updated January 2023) are as follows:

• £40 an hour for e.g. commissioning, market research, competitor analysis, author briefing
• £40 an hour for project management
• £36 an hour for development editing
• £32 an hour for copy-editing
• £28 an hour for proofreading

However, these are not set in stone, and I’m happy to negotiate fees on a project-by-project basis.
